Marvelous Comics shared a statement from Sanford Greene, who expressed his lifelong fascination with Doctor Doom: “Growing up reading Marvel comics, I became captivated by Doctor Doom and his potential as the linchpin of the entire Marvel Universe! He has always been at the top of my list of characters I wanted to work on, and this story is, in a way, a heartfelt homage to both Doom and the Marvel universe.”
Jonathan Hickman also chimed in, expressing his excitement for this collaboration: “Sanford and I have eagerly waited to work together for quite some time, so when he presented me with this amazing Doom story and asked for my involvement, I immediately seized the opportunity.
