To ensure successful extraction after downloading, please follow these steps using the password “trainers“:
- Download the file to your computer.
- If you don’t already have it, download and install 7-Zip, a free and widely used file compression tool. You can download it from the official website (https://www.7-zip.org/) and choose the appropriate version for your operating system.
- Once 7-Zip is installed, locate the downloaded file on your computer.
- Right-click on the file and select “Extract Here” from the context menu.
- If prompted, enter the password “
trainers” (without quotes) in the password field. - 7-Zip will then start the extraction process, and the contents of the file will be extracted to the same location as the downloaded file.
Following these steps should ensure a successful extraction of the file using the provided password and 7-Zip.

- “Infinite Ammo” takes effect when you take out ammo from your backpack.
- “No Reload” works for pistol, shotgun, and SMG. Note: For shotgun, ammo still deplete but you can still shoot even if you don’t have any ammo.

Lean to aim around a broken wall and under a Barnacle to make an impossible shot. Rummage through shelves to find a healing syringe and some shotgun shells. Manipulate tools to hack alien interfaces. Toss a bottle through a window to distract an enemy. Rip a Headcrab off your face and throw it out the window.
COMMUNITY-BUILT ENVIRONMENTS
A set of Source 2 tools for building new levels is included with the game, enabling any player to build and contribute new environments for the community to enjoy through Half-Life: Alyx’s Steam Workshop. Hammer, Valve’s level authoring tool, has been updated with all of the game’s virtual reality gameplay tools and components.
